A wonderful night celebrating our incredible MHHS community

Last night at the MHHS Let’s Celebrate Gala, we had the privilege of celebrating the incredible people who make such a difference across our health service.

It was wonderful to meet the Honourable Tim Nicholls and, of course, a particularly proud moment for us at My Hospital Foundation as we celebrated our very own Maddison Hunt being named Volunteer of the Year.

Maddy is such a valued member of our Foundation family, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see her dedication, kindness and commitment recognised.

But perhaps the most humbling part of the evening was watching so many of the hardworking staff across Mackay Hospital and Health Service be recognised for their dedication and tireless work.

Behind every patient, every family and every moment of care are incredible people who show up every day to make a difference.

It was a privilege to celebrate them all.
