Cancer Council Queensland has handed over a lovely Kid’s Cancer Project teddy bear named Princess Polly to the Children’s Ward at Mackay Base Hospital. The donation comes from local woman, Elaine, who has donated a bear to children living with illness every year for the past decade.
Also, rail freight company, Aurizon recently donated multiple toys to suit children of all ages in hospital. These toys, and the bear, were given to child patients by Children’s Ward staff just in time for Christmas. We’re sure they’ll brighten up some young faces during the holiday season!
