Our first Christmas Volunteers Lunch was held at the Senior Citizen's Hall on 24 November 2011. Almost seventy Volunteers enjoyed a beautiful lunch and a very special day, where we expressed our gratitude for their ongoing commitment and support. This lunch was sponsored by many local businesses, with in-kind donations and wonderful prizes for our Volunteer Xmas Lunch Raffle, to show their appreciation for our Volunteers work.
Making a donation to your local hospital through the Mackay Hospital Foundation is quick and simple. To select an option that best suits you simply choose your preferred method:
The donations received by the Foundation are given to the specialised area or hospital that YOU have chosen. If a hospital or area is not chosen in the MHHS district donations are allocated to ‘greatest needs’.
All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible.
