Almost $2,000.00 was recently donated to the Mackay Base Hospital Children’s Ward by a generous group of Mt Pleasant Tavern patrons. To fundraise, one of the patrons, George, shaved off his beard and moustache after 30 years of growth!
The donation will go towards Children’s Ward priority items as identified by hospital staff. We extend our thanks to the Mt Pleasant Tavern and its patrons for their great support.

The donations received by the Foundation are given to the specialised area or hospital that YOU have chosen. If a hospital or area is not chosen in the MHHS district donations are allocated to ‘greatest needs’.
All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible.
