E.S.A International, Alpha Rho Mackay Branch, hosted their annual changeover dinner on 27 April 2012 at the Met in Mackay. It is a local service organisation fostering personal achievement through education, service to the community and association. Various fundraising activities during the year enabled this organisation to support different projects and causes in Mackay and to make a difference in people’s lives.
The Mackay Hospital Foundation would like to thank all the members of the E.S.A International Mackay Branch for their generous support of the Breast Screen and Renal Unit of the Mackay Health Service District.
Narelle Rosmalen, Acting Service Manager at Breast Screen Mackay: ”I am truly humbled by the work this group of ladies do during the year to raise valuable funds for local services. They put in a great deal of effort to ensure that services such as BreastScreen are financially supported through the contributions of others. BreastScreen is able to use the money to enhance services to our clients and further promote breast screening. Thank you ESA for your donations, they are greatly appreciated”

Making a donation to your local hospital through the Mackay Hospital Foundation is quick and simple. To select an option that best suits you simply choose your preferred method:
The donations received by the Foundation are given to the specialised area or hospital that YOU have chosen. If a hospital or area is not chosen in the MHHS district donations are allocated to ‘greatest needs’.
All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible.
