Local artist Danni Plater is using her first art exhibition to fundraise for the Mackay Hospital Foundation. She will direct the gold coin attendance fees plus 10% of the event’s profits towards the purchase of toys for children in the hospital’s care over Christmas.
Danni was inspired to give to children in hospital having relied on The Ronald McDonald House in the past.
She’s encouraging the community to come along to the exhibition to support both herself and the Foundation.
The exhibition will be held Sunday 1 December from 10:00am to 3:00pm at The Studio on Goldsmith, showcasing Danni’s framed art works and specialties of logo, poster and tattoo design. Making a donation to your local hospital through the Mackay Hospital Foundation is quick and simple. To select an option that best suits you simply choose your preferred method:
The donations received by the Foundation are given to the specialised area or hospital that YOU have chosen. If a hospital or area is not chosen in the MHHS district donations are allocated to ‘greatest needs’.
All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible.
