The Foundation is continually blessed by community-minded people choosing to brighten the lives of hospital patients. After hours spent sewing and embroidering, Julie, Elaine and Lydia recently donated an array of handmade pillowcases to children receiving oncology treatment at the Mackay Base Hospital.
Crafted from a range of colourful materials, the pillowcase designs include superheroes, ducklings and princes and princesses. They will be handed out to child patients and their families as gifts.
Every donation - large and small - that the Foundation receives contributes to providing hospital extras to patients and staff in Mackay, Proserpine, Sarina, Moranbah, Dysart, Clermont, Bowen and Collinsville. All donations made to the Foundation are invested directly into the hospital and health services.

The donations received by the Foundation are given to the specialised area or hospital that YOU have chosen. If a hospital or area is not chosen in the MHHS district donations are allocated to ‘greatest needs’.
All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible.
