Two of Mackay's rising artists attended the official morning tea launch of the Foundation Christmas Cards today. Annilese, 10, and Charlotte, 4, were awarded with a 'thankyou' certificate for their lovely designs and a framed copy of their artwork. Souths presented the Foundation with a $2000 cheque to support the project.
Due to their injuries, left-handed Annilese had to complete her design with her right hand and right-handed Charlotte completed her drawing with her left hand. We wouldn't have guessed!
The Foundation Christmas Cards come in five different designs and can be purchased at the hospital Information Desk or Cafe for $2 each, or five for $8. 100% of proceeds are directed to the Foundation, with no administration costs.

Making a donation to your local hospital through the Mackay Hospital Foundation is quick and simple. To select an option that best suits you simply choose your preferred method:
The donations received by the Foundation are given to the specialised area or hospital that YOU have chosen. If a hospital or area is not chosen in the MHHS district donations are allocated to ‘greatest needs’.
All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible.
